Archival Treasures: behind the scenes, rare documents and stories
Since 1796, the Archives has been preserving the written heritage of the territory, from the oldest document in 997 to the contemporary archives. During these guided tours organized every hour, exceptionally access the conservation stores to discover behind the scenes of the collective memory. Rare documents will be presented, notably around the architectural heritage of the Ardennes. A continuous screening of amateur and documentary films traces the contemporary history of the department. At the same time and while waiting for your guided tours, a participatory game, "The Timeline", invites you to return to the chronological order of emblematic local and national events. A fun and educational activity for the whole family. Accessibility
