Graulhet barracks

Built in 1894 to house a mounted gendarmerie brigade, the Graulhet barracks have kept over the years the old stables and detention cells in their original state. The gendarmes present will have the pleasure of telling you the story of the barracks. In parallel to the free visits, a variety of activities will be proposed so that everyone, with family or friends, can dive into the past of this institution closely linked to local history. The full program of the day will be broadcast at the beginning of September 2025 on our social networks. Already planned, guided tours will be offered to you. You will also have the pleasure of discovering the intervention of a specialized unit of the National Gendarmerie.
