Aperçu

The hotel de Clévans, built in 1739, is currently occupied by the commander of arms of the place de Besançon. Over the years, this residence has welcomed and hosted several famous personalities, including the Duke of Aumale (son of King Louis-Philippe), Baron Marulaz and General de Lattre de Tassigny. From 1943 to 1944, the hotel also served as a headquarters for the Gestapo. Despite the vagaries of time and historical events, this place has retained its authentic character. Informations This mansion is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
