Not[` with Marie-Madeleine Martinet, Aurélien Sausy, Audrey Peinado, Mario Leccia singing and percussion In today’s Provence, traditional balls, polyphonic choirs, wild carnivals... still express our need to live together, to carry the voice, to rise collectively and to create a poetry that would be as the poet Gennadi Aiguï says "the work- language of human fraternity". Pas highlights the popular collective practices that still exist today: festivals and various more or less pagan celebrations related to the cycle of the seasons, to the course of the sun, as were for example the nativity festivals, born from the rites of the solstice and then absorbed by consumer society. A new creation carried by Tant comme le li Siam – polyphonies of the Ventoux – where their musical compositions resonate, inspired by the poetry of contemporary authors and previous centuries, traditional repertoire themes inherited from the local musical heritage and poems written for the occasion in order to convey a voice that is their own.
