In the heart of the town of Huillé, the castle looks out over the Val du Loir, offering a breathtaking view. The grand logis, remodelled in the 18th century, has just benefited, these last two years, from the first restoration effort among three; the attached logis and the 15th-century staircase tower linking the whole will follow. The framework, dated between 1391 and 1394, whose restoration was completed last summer, is undoubtedly one of the treasures of the property. In September, visitors will be able to admire the faithfully restored frames, appreciate the extent of the masonry work, as well as the fine slate cover laid this year.
