On the occasion of marking the 800th anniversary of the Noble Municipality of Turopolje, a scientific symposium will be held as the central event of European Heritage Days in Velika Gorica. Experts in history, art history, and architecture will give lectures on political conditions, defense of Turopolje, development of education and musical traditions through eight centuries of continuous operation of the oldest European noble municipality.
