The lecture by the author of the monograph will present to students the life of railway workers in the Railway Colony and acquaint them with its history. The Railway Colony built in 1927 is an example of a well-urbanized workers' settlement designed after the model of "garden cities", with authentic rows of houses, a square and a children's playground. Due to its unique architecture, it was declared a protected historical complex of Zagreb. As part of the workshops, students will sketch architectural details of the Colony and develop proposals for sustainable renovation of the colony. Workshop works will be presented as part of the exhibition.
