En el marco de las Jornadas Europeas de Patrimonio 2025, se llevará a cabo la actividad Mi Pueblo es Geoparque, en la que se realizará un recorrido interpretado que partirá de Lecina y llegará hasta Betorz. Durante el itinerario, el Dr. Carlos Fernández Piñar nos ofrecerá una explicación especializada sobre la técnica de la piedra seca, abordando sus características, su valor patrimonial y las distintas tipologías constructivas que encontramos en el territorio. Esta técnica esta inscrita en la Lista Representativa del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. El recorrido tiene una distancia de 4km (solo ida de Lecina a Betorz) con un desnivel positivo de 331m.

Para finalizar la actividad, se realizará una visita al conjunto etnológico de Betorz (almazara, herrería y aljibe), donde se podrá conocer de primera mano estas arquitecturas y comprender su estrecha relación con las formas de vida del pasado.

La participación en las jornadas es gratuita pero resulta necesaria su inscripción previa en el formulario de la página web.

To conclude the activity, participants will visit the ethnological complex of Betorz (the olive mill, forge, and cistern), where they will be able to learn firsthand about these traditional structures and understand their close relationship with past ways of life.
