The heritage of our land
Legacy is more than just material things or money we leave behind. It's also tiny threads of love that flow through our families over generations. My grandma told me stories about years of hunger, when they shared their last piece of bread with their neighbours.
This goodness lives with us even now, reminding us that true legacy — heart capable of sharing.
I wish to continue our legacy.
Grandma's songs under the starry sky, grandpa's laugh during supper, parents' faith in the lord. Together we protect our family hearth and it shall light the way for those who follow.
Ukrainian vyshyvanka shirts, ukrainian folk dances and out traditional holidays are also a part of our legacy.
They make our culture special and unique.
I reminisce about grandfather who taught me how to plant flowers.
"Every little seed is a promise that tomorrow something shall bloom," — he said to me. Now, holding his old shovel, I understand what he meant. Legacy is a collection of lessons that grow within us. They make us stronger, kinder and we pass them in the future like a torch, keeping our successors warm.
