The objects presented have been collected since 1865 by members of the Académie de la Val d'Isère.

The religious building was built during the 19th century. It is the only simultaneous church in the Bruch Valley.

The Médiathèque, which opened in February 2019 on the site of the former Lycée Joseph Vallot, is fully part of the Confluence Cultural Center.
