We are Esteban, Daniel and Nicolás. We have investigated the church of San Juan located in the Lugo town of Puertomarín, in Galicia. Romanesque in style, it was declared a historical-artistic monument belonging to the National Artistic Treasure on June 3, 1931, during the Second Republic, by means of a decree published on the 4th of that same month in the Madrid Gazette, signed by the president of the Provisional Government of the Republic Niceto Alcalá-Zamora and the Minister of Public Education and Fine Arts Marcelino Domingo y Sanjuán.2​ At the beginning of the 1960s3 it had to be moved from the old location of the town, the old Puertomarín, to the modern one, as a result of the construction of dams on the Miño.
