Tomando como referencia las coplas recopiladas y creadas por Xabier Amuriza durante las últimas décadas, el objetivo de esta charla será explicar a la audiencia las antiguas y actuales coplas y su influencia en la música popular. Agus Barandiaran (Korrontzi), con su acordeón diatónico (trikitia, en euskera), pondrá música a las coplas, y se tendrá la oportunidad de escuchar cantar a ambos.

Taking as a reference the coplas collected and created by Xabier Amuriza during the last decades, the aim of this talk will be to explain to the audience the old and current coplas and their influence on popular music. Agus Barandiaran (Korrontzi), with his diatonic accordion (trikitia, in Basque), will put music to the coplas, and there will be the opportunity to listen to both of them singing.
