Oglede is a festival that brings together artists who create in the field of contemporary performing practices (performance, dance, visual arts…), promoting and communicating Velika Gorica, its culture and tradition, city locations and zones, re-evaluating the city’s identity. This year’s theme Dichotomy of the City views the city and space as a mirror of social and political relations. We read it through signs, symbols, representations, and meanings as a reflection of social, political, cultural, and artistic practices in public space, thus “mirroring” society and individuals in their contradictions.
