European Heritage Days Stories

The European Heritage Days call for stories aims to identify the European dimension of heritage sites and the work that communities across Europe are doing in the field of heritage. It is about past or existing stories that communities would like to share and possibly develop into a project that would further contribute to the development of their communities. The Call for European Stories was launched as an activity of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, whose successes it now seeks to build on, and supports the European Framework for Action on Cultural Heritage adopted in December 2018 to ensure the long-term impact of the European Year of Cultural Heritage. As part of a common vision of shared European values, the call is also open to winners of the EU Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Prize and sites awarded the European Heritage Label.
