«Северная жемчужина» - Шаранга Шарангский район находится в удалении от больших городов. Это один из северных районов Нижегородской области. Он граничит с республикой Марий-Эл и Кировской областью. Ещё полвека назад за удалённость и дремучие леса называли его «медвежий угол», «глухая провинция». Сейчас жители и многочисленные гости района называют Шарангу за её внешний облик, чистоту и благоустроенность «Северной жемчужиной», «маленькой Швейцарией». Несмотря на все изменения Шаранга сохранила свою самобытность, уникальность. Посёлок Шаранга был основан в 1747 году. Первые его жители – народ мари – марийцы, черемисы. Обладая высокой экологической культурой, они очень бережно относились к окружающей природе. Эти традиции соблюдаются жителями Шаранги и по сей день. Здесь люди живут по принципу «Чисто не там, где убирают, а там, где не мусорят». Привлекательный внешний облик моего родного посёлка сегодня – это тенистые улочки, множество малых архитектурных форм, Заречный парк, пруд с необычным водосбросным сооружением «звёздочка», прекрасные клумбы и цветники, белоснежная ротонда, фонтаны, сказочное «Лукоморье». Всё создано руками человеческими! В Шарангском районе сохранились марийские священные рощи. Это уникальные геоботанические, историко-культурные и ландшафтные памятники народа мари. Располагаются недалеко от деревень на возвышенных местах посреди полей в виде зелёных островков. Здесь нельзя ломать ветки, убивать животных и насекомых, жечь костры, мусорить, сквернословить. The attractive appearance of my native village today is shady streets, a lot of small architectural forms, a river park, a pond with an unusual spillway, beautiful flower beds, a snow-white rotunda, fountains, a fabulous "Lukomorye". Everything is created by human hands! In Sharang district there are preserved Mari sacred groves. These are unique geobotanical, historical, cultural and landscape monuments of the Mari people. Located near the villages on high lands in the middle of the fields in the form of green Islands. It is forbidden to break branches, kill animals and insects, burn fires, leave litter and swear.
