Mława and its inhabitants entered the country's history with both heroic fights in 1920 and 1939. Mława was also the beginning of the path of many people who achieved success in the field of science or art with their work. Among them are creator of the Polish penicillin prof. Tadeusz Korzybski, the first Polish woman with a medical diploma, Anna Dobrska and many others.
