For this year, EHOD’s theme is ‘Inclusion – exploring our hidden history together’ histories not usually at the forefront of the general tour. Themes in the tour will include stories relating to Women’s history, LGBTQ+ history, Mental Health in history and the history of the servants who lived and worked here. Free flow tour of the house, with audio interpretation and volunteer room stewards to impart the information. There will also be some costumed guides walking around the house and the gardens surrounding the house, to mingle with the public and entertain them with a relevant information.
