Los pozos de nieve o neveros artificiales ya se usaban en tiempos de los romanos y se han seguido utilizando hasta la invención del frigorífico ya en el siglo XX. En el municipio de Agullent encontramos la Cava de la Pedrera y el Fornet de la Neu como referentes de dicha arquitectura antigua.

Realizaremos maquetas de dicha construcción, entendiendo su funcionamiento, el almacenamiento por capas hasta convertirlo en hielo, así como su singular cubierta.

Snow stores or artificial snow stores were already used in roman times and have continued to be used until the invention of the refrigerator already in the twentieth century. In  Agullent we could find the Cava de la Pedrera or the Fornet de la Neu, as reference of this ancient architecture.

We will make models of this construction, understanding its operation, the storage by layers until it becomes ice, as well as its unique cover.
