Παρουσίαση των αποτελεσμάτων του ερευνητικού έργου STORM («Safeguarding Cultural Heritage through the Technical and Organizational Resources Management») (ομιλητές Αναστασία Τζιγκουνάκη, αρχαιολόγος, Διευθύντρια της ΕΦΑ Ρεθύμνου / Κώστας Γιαπιτσόγλου, αρχαιολόγος). Το έργο, το οποίο υλοποιήθηκε στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος HORIZON, αφορά στη λήψη μέτρων προστασίας της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς έναντι της κλιματικής αλλαγής, με τη χρήση νέων τεχνολογιών και ψηφιακών εργαλείων, καθώς και στην εφαρμογή τους στην Παλιά Πόλη Ρεθύμνου και το ενετικό φρούριο Φορτέτζα, που εξετάστηκαν ως μελέτες περίπτωσης. Sustainable Heritage’ at the Fortetza Fortress in the Old City of Rethymno - by the Ephorate of Antiquities of Rethymno. Presentation of the results of the research project STORM (‘Safeguarding Cultural Heritage through the Technical and Organizational Resources Management’) with main speakers: Anastasia Tzigkounaki, archaeologist, Director of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Rethymno and Costas Yiapitsoglou, archaeologist. The project, which was implemented in the frame of the HORIZON programme, deals with the adoption of protection measures for cultural heritage against climate change, with use of modern technologies and digital tools as well as their application in the Old City of Rethymno and the Venetian fortress of Fortetza that have been examined as case studies.
