Liam Suipéil has long been interested in local history - from a storytelling perspective. He believes that these stories are important and should be preserved for future generations. The Cunnigar, or An Chois, has served many different purposes for peoples and communities, especially those in the adjacent Gaeltacht, down through the ages. This illustrated talk will tell stories of how this sandspit has served the local people in times past - even to the present day.
