Carlow County Council invites all neighbours and friends to join them in a unique event celebrating the works, achievements and thinkings of John Tyndall in the Lord Bagenal Inn, Leighlinbridge. This event coincides with the 150th anniversary of Tyndall's 'Belfast Address' in 1874. The event consisting of The Belfast Address: A Lecture by Dr. Diarmaid Finnegan will be followed by The Belfast Address Imagined by the Carlow Little Theatre Company.

Those attending will be able to enjoy, for the first time in County Carlow a recital of Prof. Gráinne Mulvey, Leighlinbridge, Tyndall Inspired Piano Compositions.
