In the celebration of Heritage Week, we are extending our invitation to a wider audience to join us for a free guided tour at the Skerries Mills followed by a walk to enjoy Irish wildlife, landscapes and built heritage of Skerreis, meeting new people from all around the world who will share their stories of nature and heritage in their own countries.

Lunch will be provided followed by an interactive workshop.

This event is organised by Sanctuary in Nature & Heritage and Meath Partnership as part of the Meath Partnership project called Health Matters which is a project funded by the International Protection Integration Fund. The project aims to support families living in Direct Provision Centres to engage in Health and Wellbeing education programmes.

Sanctuary in Nature & Heritage is an initiative that aims to provide a place of sanctuary through Irish wildlife, landscapes, and built heritage for people new to Ireland.

Meath Partnership is a Local Development Company that seeks to deliver a range of range of rural, social and economic programmes at a local level across Co Meath.

This event is part of the Health Matters project which is kindly funded by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth.
