The Old Drogheda Society welcomes you to visit Drogheda Museum Millmount
For our Heritage Week Open Day on Sunday 25th August 2024, from 12-5pm.

We will have free entry to the Museum and Tower, showcasing historical artefacts from Drogheda town and the surrounds. Take a dive into our past with wonderful and unique items on display.

We will also have entertainment from Ninteen98 DJ, Alice Reynolds, and our very own Comhaltas will be displaying an array of talented Traditional Irish Musicians.

There will be a talk on the History of Millmount in the Tower by two of our seasoned tour guides, Shane, and Eoin.

We will have stalls and market holders showcasing their wares, which are ingrained in Drogheda Culture.

Children's entertainment will be also available on the day, with Billy Bonka Balloons, and face painting, as well as Creative Circle.

Food trucks and coffee trucks will also be in Millmount Quarter offering some amazing food, and we will also have an ice Cream Van.

We welcome people of all ages, all nationalities, all abilities, and especially the townspeople of Drogheda, who have supported us over the years. Please come to join in our Culture, Heritage, and Tradition, and enjoy the experience we have put together for you.
