Guided tour of 'The Old Post Office' thatched cottage and grounds. This tour will bring people around the cottage and grounds of what was once the post office for Ballycarney village from 1891-1938. The tour will explore the history of the post office and the story of its restoration and some history of Ballycarney.
Parking for the event is located at the back of the cottage and can be accessed along the Ferns road (From the cottage turn left at the crossroads for Ferns. The entrance for parking is located immediately left just after the car garage) Please avoid parking on the road for health and safety.
