Nature Walk on Baginbun Beach
Join us for a nature walk on Baginbun beach and explore the natural heritage of Wexford's coastline. This walk will be led by Jim Hurley, naturalist and expert on Wexford's South Coast. Located on the south westerly corner of the Hook Peninsula the beach is well positioned to capture views of the Keeragh Islands and the Bannow Bay Estuary
The stretch of coastline from the spectacular tip of Hook Head to Ireland's South East corner at Carnsore is an area of wonderful natural heritage.
Jim Hurley, a naturalist and retired school teacher is south Wexford coast's keenest promoter. He has a wealth of knowledge on the natural heritage of the region which is to be designated a Special Protection Area (SPA) under the EU Birds Directive
