Join Kieran Dwane from Birdwatch Ireland (Cork Branch) for a talk on the Common Swift - a widespread summer visitor to Ireland which usually breeds in urban areas, however their numbers are declining and they are now an endangered species and need all the help they can get. This is why Douglas Tidy Towns are working with Birdwatch Ireland (Cork Branch), Swift Conservation Ireland, Cork City Council and local property owners to install next boxes to provide them with a home, where they can rear their young in safety.
