Explore the Lough Oughter Waterways as part of Water Heritage Day
Explore the Lough Oughter Waterways on a kayak with Cavan Adventure Centre. You will be guided along the waterways and view some of the wonderful and native variety of plants and animals that inhabit the land here. The Lough Oughter Waterway system is protected as a Special Area of Conservation and is host to many species of waterfowl, freshwater fish and aquatic flora as well as some magnificent geological features. Travel to the stunning Island of Clough Oughter Castle and learn the fascinating history of the Castle ruins.
All equipment, instructors and guides are supplied. Bring a snack for the journey.
