Rathmullan History & Heritage Group is hosting this illustrated talk by historian Arthur Lynch on the building of the Knockalla Coast Road - the road that connects people and places throughout the Fanad Peninsula as never before. The story brings to life the great need for this road; the stories of the workers; the feats of engineering involved; the difficulties overcome and the significance of the road's existence over the past 50 years. All are welcome to join in the discussion on the "Road" over a cup of tea and to learn about the ongoing work of the Group in recording the placenames of the Knockalla area.
