Moville Community Complex Development Company invites you to experience the delights of Moville’s built and natural heritage.

This is a unique opportunity to read the historic landscape from Cooley Cross to historic Moville and beyond, through the eyes of the eminent Archaeologist and Medieval Historian, Dr Brian Lacey.

See this precious place through new eyes.

Open to all ages and backgrounds, this is an easy grade downhill walk and will be guided at a gentle pace. Distance approximately 2km.

Depending on your curiosity and energy levels, you are free to participate in up to 3 of these distinctly different experiences.

Please book separately for each guided walk.
Please rendezvous at St Eugene's Hall, James' Street, Moville, F93 X6YR, by 09:45am for boarding the shuttle bus. This departs at 10:00am sharp for Cooley.

Please do NOT travel to Cooley by private car. The roads are very narrow and there is no parking.

Please DO bring your own water bottle AND come prepared for the forecasted weather, wearing comfy, waterproof walking shoes.

There will be very little access to public toilets during the first hour of the tour.
