Grainne Nolan loves to paint seascapes and landscapes. She takes great inspiration from the coastline around Ireland, having lived in Tramore and Sligo before settling in Skerries. She works in acrylic and oil and uses vibrant colour in her paintings. Grainne particularly likes to explore light and dark in her pictures to create drama. She will do commissioned work and is exhibiting in Skerries Mills Watermill Cafe, as the complex runs exhibitions with local artists year-round. The exhibition will run from the 19th of August until the 1st of September. Grainne has previously exhibited work in the Pavillions, Swords and at Tennis Court Railings, Malahide, as part of the Artworks Gallery where she was secretary of the group. Grainne's paintings have found homes in many countries including Australia, America, Dubai, England and Finland.
