Explore the oceanic lichens of Glengarriff Woods Nature Reserve with Paul Whelan, author of several books on lichens including a significant new book on the lichens of Ireland to be published this summer.

This guided walk will reveal the beauty and diversity of lichens, and their special place in the plant world. Hand lenses will be available to enable participants to view the lichens close-up.
