Rathgar Methodist Church has been part of the community in Rathgar for 150 years in 2024. During Heritage Week the church building will be open for visitors to come in and find out about the architecture in our building, special elements like our pipe organ and stained glass windows, some history around past members and our connection to Rathgar National School. On Saturday, 17th August we will have a special 'Path to Rathgar' walk, following a routed from Custom House Quay, where John Wesley, founder of Methodism, first arrived in Dublin to key sites in the city and on to Rathgar (approx. 5 miles).
