The church of Saint-Martial de Lagarde was built in 1889 in a modern Romanesque style and in the shape of a cross. In 1959, the artist Nicolaï Greschny painted the frescoes. His talent as a draftsman and his deep knowledge of religious texts make his work a wonderful «Holy History» in images. By its colors and style directly from the great Byzantine tradition it is the «Christ in Majesty» who welcomes you and dazzles you.
