Done up in the old(former) office(desk) of customhouses of Châtel, this centre of interpretation(performance) is interested in smuggling(contraband) in the French-Swiss mountains of Chablais. He(It) highlights the adventures of an in the past inseparable binomial of border: the customs officer and the smuggler. Since the underground importation of salt of XVIIIESIÈCLE, up to the advent of tourism at the end of 1950s, the Old Customhouse proposes you an unpublished presentation(display) of the mountains of Chablais, where anecdote always joins big(great) history(story).
