The new building(ship) of the local and Community archives, work of the architects Denu and Paradon associated in J. Buffière, is inaugurated in 2004\\. He(It) shelters the archives of the City, of Eurometropolis, of Work Notre-Dame, the administrative archives of the civil homes until 1950s, numerous private funds and the exceptional set(group) of photographies on glass plates(patches) especially. The Archives of Strasbourg establish(constitute) the main source(spring) on the history(story) of Strasbourg and also promote documents and techniques of preservation.
