The Claeyssens distillery, listed(classified) Historic monuments since 2000, is one two genièvreries last ones in France. It is also one of the rare in Europe to produce the Juniper, the alcohol of people of the North, according to a traditional method, dating the two centuries. The juniper of Wambrechies has (Protected IGP Geographical Indication): «Juniper Flanders Artois» who(which) reconnait at European level the quality of this product in connection with its country(soil).
