The site of the Chalucet Media Library today in the heart of the city of Toulon, has been occupied at least since the seventeenth century: residence of bourgeois Toulonnais, hospice for the poor, hotel-Dieu then hospital and finally, recently, district of Creativity and Knowledge. At 3pm, a conference will present on the site itself the discoveries of the archaeological excavation carried out before the redevelopment of the Médiathèqe, to retrace its history to the present day. It will be followed by a walk on the site, with the Archistoire app.
