The domain of Bonrepos-Riquet and its castle of the seventeenth century was the residence of Pierre-Paul Riquet, designer of the canal du midi, and the place where he elaborated his project with in particular its test basins. In addition to these pools and the castle itself, the special features are located in the castle park, with a completely renovated 18th-century orangery and cooler, as well as a cool cave. Guided tours of the estate take place on weekends, in spring and early autumn, and every day in summer.
