Paris fête les Jeux :
Paris City Hall - 9th arrondissement is one of the venues for the "Paris fête les Jeux" festivities during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Located at 6, rue Drouot, the Town Hall of the 9th arrondissement was richly decorated in a classical style from the moment it was built in 1748, in what was then the Hôtel d'Augny. Crowned "one of the most beautiful houses in Paris", the hotel passed from hand to hand, hosting balls, games and workshops. In 1829, the building was converted into a bank, before being acquired nineteen years later to house what was to become the town hall of the 2nd arrondissement, and then the current 9th arrondissement in 1860.
