The Internment and Deportation Memorial is a former military barracks that served as a transit camp for political opponents, resistance fighters, Jews and civilians during the Second World War. With the help of a scenographic itinerary installed inside the two still existing buildings and a garden of memory, it presents the history of the camp and retraces the deportation route of the detainees set up by Germany towards the Nazi camps.
