The Pays Rabastinois is located in the center of a very varied region and millennial culture. The beautiful valleys of the Tarn and the Agout also reserve beautiful corners of shade and freshness for fishing or hiking. Most of the artistic heritage of Rabastens is located in the old town between the promenades and the Tarn: the Castle district, with narrow and winding streets around the Plô des Chevaliers, the Bourg whose alleys cut at right angles the Grand'Rue (rue P. et G. Gouzy), witness of 13th century urbanism. While strolling, you will discover the old half-timbered houses of the 15th and 16th centuries, the beautiful brick houses of the 17th and 18th centuries.
