Continuando con la programación de las Jornadas Europeas del Patrimonio desde la Red Local de Museos y Centros Expositivos de Sobrarbe, vinculado con el trabajo de la lana y todo su proceso artesanal. Tras el taller realizado por Fililanas (19 de octubre) continuaremos el 26 de octubre de mano de Regina de Colosco Woll&Fibers con el teñido de las fibras.

Siguiendo el proceso de obtención del hilo de lana, para su uso como material de tejeduría, se ha considerado importante dar un espacio a este apartado, a pesar de no ser indispensable para poder tejer. Partirá de un acercamiento teórico al teñido de la lana y otras fibras vegetales, así como se explicará la diferencia entre tintes naturales y tintes ácidos. Posteriormente se completará con la parte más práctica, centrada en el mordentado, la preparación del baño, la tinción como tal con variaciones en los colores, y la fijación y posterior lavado del material. Para todo ello, se utilizará cebolla y Rubia Tintórea como materiales tintóreos con los que poder experimentar. En esta ocasión, el taller se desplazará hasta el municipio de Fiscal.

La actividad se desarrollará de la mano de Regina Gómez, quien esta detrás de la empresa Colosco Wool&Fibers. Este proyecto de emprendimiento rural nace en el año 2020, ubicado en Linás de Broto, y con una faceta de venta principalmente on-line, aunque complementada igualmente con la participación en ferias especializadas.

At the programming of the European Heritage Days organized by the Local Network of Museums and Exhibition Centers of Sobrarbe, focused on wool work and its entire artisanal process, we present on October 26th "Taller de tinte de lana y fibra vegetal" a workshop on fiber dyeing led by Regina from Colosco Wool & Fibers. This workshop complements the one programmed the week before called "de la oveja a la madeja".

After following the process of obtaining wool yarn for weaving, it is considered important to dedicate space to wool dyeing. Even though it is not essential for weaving itself. The workshop will start with a theoretical introduction to dyeing wool and other plant fibers, explaining the difference between natural and acid dyes. It will then proceed to the practical part, focusing on mordanting, preparing the dye bath, dyeing itself with color variations, and the fixation and subsequent washing of the material. Onion and Rubia Tintoria will be used as dye materials for experimentation. This time, the workshop will be held in the municipality of Fiscal.

The activity will be led by Regina Gómez, who runs the company Colosco Wool & Fibers. This rural entrepreneurship project started in 2020, located in Linás de Broto, with a primarily online sales facet, although it is also complemented by participation in specialized fairs.
