Médiation mobile au musée Narbo Via
Opened in May 2021, located at the east entrance of the city and along the Canal de la Robine, the Narbo Via Museum presents over 3,000 m2 of exhibition space, an exceptional collection of 1,300 works, including 760 fragments of funerary monuments displayed in a huge modular wall. The tour allows you to discover the Roman city of Narbo Martius in all its aspects: its social organization, its urbanism, its houses and decorations, its economic and port life. Numerous digital mediation devices punctuate the route, including immersive alcoves to rediscover the ancient city and its port. Designed by architect Norman Foster, the museum is a new monument in the city that multiplies visitor experiences, through a varied cultural programming. Accès : Depuis l’A9, sortie 37 Narbonne Est, direction Narbonne-centre. Depuis Narbonne, prendre la direction des plages. Stationnement sur le parking de l’Arena ou du Théâtre-Narbo Via, puis accès piéton jusqu’au musée. Des places PMR et un dépose-bus sont disponibles devant l’entrée du Musée.
