The site Le Puits des Anglais, the first well of Saint-Philippe inaugurated in 1822 before the creation of the town. Archaeological operations have revealed the existence on the site of the remains of old homes of hired workers, in direct connection with the industrial past of Saint-Philippe and the old factory of Baril located nearby.
