Free visits of the church and its altarpiece
The 14th century Saint-Pierre-es-Liens church has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1977\\. The church is massive and intended to ensure the eventual protection of the inhabitants. It is reported there since the Carolingian times. Its 17th-century Baroque walnut altarpiece, sculpted by the Duhamel brothers, master sculptors in Tulle, depicts biblical scenes from the life of Saint Peter. It was started in 1652 and was completed in 1704\\. It is 12 meters high by 14 wide and has been classified since 1891\\. A sound and light presents, on about twenty paintings, the life of Saint Peter, patron saint of the church of Naves.
