The Museum of the City, equipment of the Agglomeration Community, was created in 1977, under the name of the Écomusée de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, to preserve the traces of the past on the territory at the time of the creation of the new city. Its mission today is both to preserve and highlight the remarkable elements of the territory and to provide the keys to understanding the new city.
