Brief history of the castle: In the 18th century under Louis XV, Bernard Faure de Rochefort (1724-before 1796), President-Treasurer of France at the office of Guienne married, in 1753, with Françoise Léonarde du Cluzel de la Chabrerie (1735-1821) have the Château de Septfonds built in Trélissac on a plateau on the edge of the Lanmary forest by the architect Louis Victor, who built the great theatre of Bordeaux.
