Dieuze is a French municipality located in the department of Moselle, in the Grand Est region. Its inhabitants are called the Dieuzois and there are 3,093 in 2015\\. Historically and culturally located in Lorraine, the town is a former capital of district and canton. Home to several famous people, including four academicians, Dieuze has a prestigious past in which salt pans have played a major role, the development of the city being linked to salt springs. This heritage is discovered during the visit of the emblematic places of Dieuze such as the site of the Salines Royales and its fresco on the theme of salt, the Sculpture Park or the necropolis near the canal promenade.
