Located between Annecy and Aix-les-Bains, the secret gardens extend over an area of 7000m2 in a mosaic of gardens in the very various inspirations. Throughout visit, the murmur of fountains forms an alliance with the exuberance of flowers to liven up(lead) an audacious(adventurous) architecture of finely wrought wood. Secret opinionated and passionate gardens of a man and of a woman, this unusual and abundant place is a hymn in creation. For more than thirty years, patios, small courtyards, galleries, paths, arbours, lounges(shows), ponds and fountains got organised like a huge jigsaw puzzle to end in a garden innovative and crossed where join brilliantly country poetry oriental(eastern) refinement. The different spaces have each their identity and are so much incentive(incitement) in dream: the changing rooms(boxes) of madness, court(yard) of calades, Andalusian garden, path of pink(roses), priest's garden, garden delight, the gallery of palmettes or the gallery of lyres. Today, every year, between April and October, 32 000 visitors discover the secret gardens and leave(restart) conquered. The creators use materials(subjects) in an original different way (wood, water, mortar of limes, pebbles, calcin, coppers) and made their secret gardens a melting pot where meet diverse inspirations, a space at once closed and open, crazy and structured, a microcosm where join a bit all cultures.
