The history of this Society began in 1954 with the proposal to create a nautical center in Guénange, under the leadership of Monsieur Desjardins, former Commander of the Navy supported by the Commandant Normand Secretary General of the French Nautical Union. After a test of sailing by a boat of type "Charpie", the agreement of principle of creation of a nautical circle is taken in 1955\\. However, it was not until 13 July 1962 that the sailing club was officially registered in the Thionville court.
